This blog is dedicated to the Tyrolean Hero Andreas Hofer (1767-1810), who became the leader of a rebellion against Napoleon's forces. What is his role today - is there any left? Just an advertising symbol ? - 200 years after the rebellion took place in 1809. No. 23 - arriving mail art "Hofer Hofer Hofer Hofer" from Josh Ronsen (USA) - Josh has used the typical Hofer picture stamps and made a digital variation of it together with Napoleon postage stamps from Rep. de Guinea Ecuatorial. He set a comment inside: "I would rather had lived under Napoleon than any of the much greater assholes who ruled Europe at that time". Thank you very much.
