?Hero? Andreas Hofer (1767-1810) - mail art call for postcards

This blog is dedicated to the Tyrolean Hero Andreas Hofer (1767-1810), who became the leader of a rebellion against Napoleon's forces. What is his role today - is there any left? Just an advertising symbol ? - 200 years after the rebellion took place in 1809. I invite all artists in the world to participate in this mail art call - be critic, politic, humorous, creative - all mail art will not be sent back and become part of the collection.

No. 59 - arriving mail art "Der Komandant schläft nicht" and "Es lebe die Freiheit" from Heike Sackmann (Germany) - Heike has sent a really fast reply to both of my mail art call - the envelope is fitting to both calls, inside there were collages for each project - the socks collage you will find on my other blog: http://socks-stockings.blogspot.com/; the collage for the Hofer-project is a both sides collaged and painted card .
