?Hero? Andreas Hofer (1767-1810) - mail art call for postcards

This blog is dedicated to the Tyrolean Hero Andreas Hofer (1767-1810), who became the leader of a rebellion against Napoleon's forces. What is his role today - is there any left? Just an advertising symbol ? - 200 years after the rebellion took place in 1809. I invite all artists in the world to participate in this mail art call - be critic, politic, humorous, creative - all mail art will not be sent back and become part of the collection.

No. 150 - arriving mail art "Andreas Hofer" from Daniel C. Boyer (USA)

No. 150 - arriving mail art "Andreas Hofer" from Daniel C. Boyer (USA) - this tiny little postcard has finally arrived to me, it is on tour since 14th december, it was probably lost already in USA because of the tiny size. Later on found a put into an enveloped "collect U.S. Commemoratives" after it it was sent to Germany, second lost and found; put once more in another envelope - funny addressed "Andreas Hofer + Roland Halbritter" and finally sent together with an official letter to me. Daniel painted a portrait of Andreas Hofer on a very old postcard which has a printed postage stamp with A. Lincoln on it. Thank you very much.
