?Hero? Andreas Hofer (1767-1810) - mail art call for postcards

This blog is dedicated to the Tyrolean Hero Andreas Hofer (1767-1810), who became the leader of a rebellion against Napoleon's forces. What is his role today - is there any left? Just an advertising symbol ? - 200 years after the rebellion took place in 1809. I invite all artists in the world to participate in this mail art call - be critic, politic, humorous, creative - all mail art will not be sent back and become part of the collection.

No. 275 - arriving mail art "Andreas Hofer Superman" from Thomas Pratt (USA) - Thomas has sent this little Burger King Toy, a Supermann which is making strange noises. I interpret it as a US Andreas Hofer. Inside a plastic back as well a card with lots of us postage stamps, not canceled yet, a postcard with one of his collages and a blank card, probably for an add&return, which I will do, together with all the postage stamps, so he can use it once more. Thank you very much.
