?Hero? Andreas Hofer (1767-1810) - mail art call for postcards

This blog is dedicated to the Tyrolean Hero Andreas Hofer (1767-1810), who became the leader of a rebellion against Napoleon's forces. What is his role today - is there any left? Just an advertising symbol ? - 200 years after the rebellion took place in 1809. I invite all artists in the world to participate in this mail art call - be critic, politic, humorous, creative - all mail art will not be sent back and become part of the collection.

No. 529 & No. 530 - arriving mail art "Auch Hofer war manchmal narrisch!" from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - the first postcards is about the question whether Andreas Hofer is/was a fool, the other one illustrates the meeting of Andreas Hofer with Amy Winehouse. Both are really funny collages. Even if have to pay postal due for the one, it is worth every penny. Thank you very much.
