?Hero? Andreas Hofer (1767-1810) - mail art call for postcards

This blog is dedicated to the Tyrolean Hero Andreas Hofer (1767-1810), who became the leader of a rebellion against Napoleon's forces. What is his role today - is there any left? Just an advertising symbol ? - 200 years after the rebellion took place in 1809. No. 477 & No. 478 - arriving mail art "Der Hofer ist gelandet" and "Art Nr. fa 14" from Heinz W. Lotz (Germany) - two collaged postcards, one without any valid postage stamp, but cancelled by the post office and the other one with a valid stamp but no cancellation, really strange. Thank you very much.
